When it comes to our potential for personal change and spiritual growth, a lot of people sort of subconsciously operate and think about change with this equation —My past performance plus my present will to change equals my hope for change. How I’ve done in the past plus my determination to do better next time equals my hope and potential for change. But as Christians, we meant to approach change with an entirely different equation.
