Philippians 4:10-13
All of us, regardless of our religious commitments, are looking for contentment in life. We’re all looking for a deep satisfaction and inner equilibrium in life. The question is—how do we get it?
One of the bold claims of Christianity is that it offers us and teaches us the secret and key for the contentment we’re all looking for. It’s not you in better circumstances; it’s you with a better perspective on the same circumstances. It’s not just appreciating what you have, it’s the art of making the most of what you have. But where do we get the strength to live like that?
In this sermon, delivered on July 28, 2024 at Union Chapel in North Hampton, NH, we consider the nature and secret of true contentment and why we need the strength of Christ to experience it.
