Revelation 1:9-18

One of the main reasons we lose heart in life as Christians is because we lose sight of the risen Christ. One of the main reasons our problems seem so big is because our view and vision of Jesus is far too small. What voice has the functional authority in our lives? What type of vision do we have of the living Jesus? And what difference does it all make?

In this sermon, delivered on May 5, 2024 at Christ Church in Pembroke, NH, we consider the Apostle John’s dramatic experience on the island of Patmos. He hears the voice of Jesus, sees a vision of Jesus, and is comforted by the victory of Jesus applied to him.
